Veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has said he does not regret supporting President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the last election.
Okonkwo said this while responding to a comment on his Instagram page after he shared a video of him struggling right off the road with cattle in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Sharing the dramatic video clip, Okonkwo called for the abolition of open grazing as a way for the country to move forward.
“This is why ranching is both desirable and inevitable. How can humans and animals be struggling for a right of way in the Federal Capital City of Abuja?
“We must move on to the 21st-century system of animal husbandry to reduce tensions between passers-by, commuters, farmers and herdsmen. Have a great week ahead and God bless.”
Okonkwo, however, get trolled after sharing the video for campaigning for President Muhammadu Buhari in the previous elections.
A follower @Azi_bukaz wrote: “You campaigned relentlessly for Buhari’s re-election right? You never see anything.”
Responding, Okonkwo said he does not regret campaigning for President Buhari after seeing projects in the South Eastern region of the country.
He said: “Yes I supported Buhari and I stand by my decision. When I see that the Second Niger Bridge is about to be completed when I see that runway at Enugu Airport has been expanded to accommodate international flights, when I see that Enugu-PH express roads are being rehabilitated when I remember all the other things Buhari had done for the South East and remember that PDP was there for 16 years and did nothing for us, I am proud of the decision I took and I have no apologies for that. God bless you for writing.”
I’ve never loved anyone like Wizkid in my lifetime – Jada P
Celebrity manager Jada Pollock says it is degrading to be referred to as one of Wizkid’s baby mamas.
Pollock made this known during a question and answer session with fans on Twitter on Friday, January 28, 2022, as she professed her love for Starboy.
Pollock revealed she loves Wizkid with all her heart and has never loved anyone like him all her life.
Her tweet read, “I love Wizkid with all my heart! I’ve never loved anyone like this in my lifetime. Our love is magical.”
The mother of Wizkid’s third child, Zion, added that it is disappointing when people address her as ‘Wizkid’s baby mama’ without recognizing her achievements.
“I think about this, so degrading and discriminating when I’m referred to as Wizkid’s third baby mother before addressing me professionally by my name. The credit of my Journey or experience is so underrated,” she wrote.
When asked about her vision for Wizkid in 2023, Jada said: “For us to continue to inspire the world. There are no limits to what Ayo/Wiz can do!
“He will consistently surprise us, so you never know what to expect. Whatever it is it will be GREAT.”
Regina Daniels reveals why her husband arrested, sued Jaruma
Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has spoken on the face-off between her husband, Ned Nwoko and aphrodisiac seller, Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, AKA Jaruma.
Ned Nwoko had reportedly arrested and dragged her (Jaruma) to court for defamation of character.
The FCT Upper Court had remanded Jaruma in Suleja prison.
Writing on her Instagram page, Regina Daniels said her friendship with Jaruma hit the rocks after the ‘Kayanmata’ seller refused to take down a post where she accused her of being the cause of the crisis in her family at the time.
Recall that Jaruma had claimed that her product used by Regina Daniels was responsible for the collapse of Nwoko’s marriage to Laila.
But, the actress denied using the products, claiming she was just paid to advertise.“Miss Jaruma ruined every form of agreement or friendship we had when she falsely said to the general public that I was the cause of a major crisis going on in my family. I went ahead to message her to take down the post but she didn’t.”
The actress further denied claims that Jaruma’s arrest had something to do with the business deal they both had.
She stressed that Jaruma was arrested and arraigned for various false and malicious publications against her husband
“Please note the petition, arrest and the detention of Jaruma has absolutely nothing to do with the business deal between me and her. But simply arose from the various false and malicious publications against my husband.
“I’m writing this because I feel y’all deserve an explanation to the general misrepresentation going around me being paid for a job and not able to deliver. The fact is that I delivered on the job based on our various discussions,” she added.
Meanwhile, the court had fixed (today) Friday, January 28, to rule on Jaruma’s bail application.
My husband is a Muslim, he’s entitled to more than one wife’ – Mercy Aigbe blast critics
Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has debunked claims that she snatched her new lover, Adeoti Kazim from his wife.
DAILY POST had reported that the social media was agog after the actress shared loved up pictures of her new lover last weekend.
Some Nigerians had also accused her of ‘stealing another woman’s happiness’ as it was revealed that Kazim is married with kids.
However, Mercy, speaking to TVC ‘Your View’ on Wednesday, said her new lover is a Muslim who is entitled to more than one wife.
She made this known in a message sent to the talk show host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown.
“I spoke to her (Mercy) last night, she told me that the man is a Muslim, he’s entitled to more than one wife, so yes, he has issues with the first wife, and he is now married to her as the second wife and as a second wife, doesn’t she deserve to be happy? ” Morayo quoted Mercy as saying.
